The PADI® Rescue Diver course will change the way you dive – in the best possible way. Learn to identify and fix minor issues before they become big problems, gain a lot of confidence, and have serious fun along the way.

All Rescue courses will meet on Friday at 6 pm to review coursework and practice a rescue scenario in the pool (wear a swimsuit and bring personal dive gear!). Then on Saturday and Sunday, we meet at Lake Travis for training dives.

Not Included? 

• Personal Dive Gear which includes mask, snorkel, fins, and dive boots. (shop local, support small business, and receive a 10% student discount for all in-store purchases)

• Scuba gear - regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), wetsuit, hood, gloves. This equipment is available for rent from Dive World Austin. Maximum out-of-pocket continuing education rental is $50.

• Entrance Fee to Windy Point Scuba Park; $15.00 per person, per day

Note: Do your homework! You’ll need to enroll at least one week prior to class. This will allow you adequate time to complete all training materials.

Prerequisite:  Emergency First Responder (or any first aid +CPR class) is a prerequisite to Rescue Diver. 

EFR/O2 courses typically take place on a Wednesday and Thursday the week prior to our Rescue courses.
